Malik has spilled beans on corruption by govt

Former governor of Goa Satya Pal Malik has spoken frankly. The governor who served Jammu and Kashmir during the worst-ever period was believed to have earned rest and peace by transfer to Goa. His brief stay was baffling and so was his subsequent transfer and posting to the north eastern state of Meghalaya, considering his calibre.

He has stirred a hornet’s nest by his persistent, brutal admission of corruption in Goa. It is not a mere storm in the teacup but will have its ramification, reverberation and fallout. The opposition will be ferociously gunning for the Chief Minister Pramod Sawant. What was speculation and imagined is now certified as truth at the highest  level.

Malik has steadfastly stood by his utterances unmindful of the consequences of his career prospects. The BJP as we know does not tolerate dissent. It is only a matter of time that Malik will be dispensed  with and dumped in the dustbin of political oblivion. He has the guts to take the bull by the horn by blowing the lid on corruption. He deserves praise and adulation. It is time for our CM to resign with humility and grace.
