Vasco city is one with railway station, airport and a port facility. But city is one of the most neglected city in Goa. After Brics meet a few years ago the road in airport area is in the dark . Many poles were detected from Verna junction to airport road however after the meet the lights have gone off and only the poles are visible. Much was spent for the meeting. Today the Mangor hill road leading to Gurudwara shrine and then touching Varunapuri and Airport at Dabolim is in dilapidated condition. The road is dirty in rains where children walk towards Kendriya Vidyalaya School. Mangor hill is busy road used by school going children and vehicles leading to airport. Just near telephone exchange there is garbage thrown and there are horticulture shop and vegetable shop. The garbage gets spread across the road at night , though every morning municipality vehicle collects and clears the garbage the same leaves a bad foul smell. Stray cattle and dogs search for stuff in garbage and spread the same around roadside. We request Mormugao Municipal Council to build a square dust bin for garbage with a lid to avoid the road getting filthy.
