There is a mound of garbage strewn by motorists and passersby on the busy Abade Faria Road at Margao adjacent to South Indian Bank and close to Lawrence & Mayo Opticians. If timely action is not initiated, this eyesore may snowball into a mini Sonsodo. The size of the dump keeps growing by the day. It has set off an obnoxious stench in the neighbourhood which has commercial and residential houses. The MMC vehicle turns a Nelson's eye to the dump every time. This matter was brought to the notice of the assigned corporator Suchita Malkarnekar of Ward No 12, but she passes on the buck to the residents.
