Modi should have resigned over farm laws long ago

After traumatising the poor farmers at the behest of his close capitalist friends for almost one year, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has finally decided to repeal the three farm laws. It is but obvious the decision has been taken keeping an eye on the fast- approaching assembly elections in five states next year.

The fear of a possible BJP defeat, especially in a very important state like Uttar Pradesh, must have definitely forced Modi to press the panic button and to play this bet.  Unfortunately, PM Modi should have resigned owning full responsibility for having upheld this black law for the last one year despite strong protests and for being morally responsible for the deaths and agony of all the farmers in the country.
