Need of hour is to vote wisely for Goa

The smell of fresh tar, the spurt of inaugural functions, advertisment of government vacancies emphasizes the season of development a.k.a election season. It is  comical to see the development which was meant to be completed over a period of 5 years, being completed within a short span of time. This is also a season of politicians switching sides to the one that best suits their personal manifesto. A live tracker would perhaps be best suited to keep a track of the current party-politician affiliation. There is no remorse, no accountability. We witness friends turning foes and vice-versa. This is a drama of democracy.

Elections are a time to bring about a change. Vote wisely and with a conscience, do not fall into the trap of freebies, think of the issues pertaining to our state and the larger interest of the Goan community. We Goans are peace loving and share exemplary communal harmony, do not allow any communal forces create a divide. Mark February 14 as an important date to cast your precious vote with a sole motive of progress and prosperity of the Pearl of the Orient -- our precious Goa.
