Parking at Sernabatim beach is a nightmare during evenings especially on the weekends. Two wheelers park haphazardly on the roads when the slots along the road shoulder are taken up. Cars too are parked in no particular order near the toilet block, and whatever little space is left is taken up by bicycles. Pedestrians have a tough time negotiating the metal jam to approach the beach and infact some have sustained minor injuries in the process scraping against hot exhaust pipes of motorcycles or projected stands of scooters. I request the village panchayat to properly earmark area for vehicle parking with painted slot signs to alleviate the problem.
