People should get 100% benefit from health scheme

An eye test camp was held at RTO office, Panaji recently. My friend and I both got our eyes checked.  Kudos to Goa government and its Health department.  It would have been better if we  were given eye glasses. We got prescription for eye glasses. The health department  seems to be in good stead .  Blood tests are also conducted every Tuesday in the sub health centre of the villages .  Blood pressure is checked.  Diabetes is tested. You don't have to go to a big hospital to do a small test. But henceforth a doctor should also be available in every sub-centre on daily basis. Now let's talk about Deen Dayal Health Service Yojana.  An 81-year-old man was operated on in a private hospital eight days ago.  A total of Rs 71,000 was spent for it.  But the old man had to pay Rs 48,000 from his pocket.  So how did the government scheme benefit? The health department should improve this government scheme so that the beneficiaries get 100 per cent benefit.  It is a good thing that Goa government is leading in health sector but basic facilities should be done 100%.  Otherwise, distribute Ayushman Bharat Cards to all.

Netizens are shocked to see the green canopy gone in a jiffy. Goa has seen a…
