The villagers and the leaders of Velsao are protecting their own private lands which the SWR railway authority wants to go ahead with the second double tracking by force. The private lands belongs to the people of Velsao and the government and railway authorities without having any documents want to lay down the second double track in someone else's property. The railway contractor has filed FIR against the four persons who dare to stop the work. This is a false FIR which the police department has gone ahead with. Right from day one the railway authorities along with central, state government and business mafias want to go ahead with the project. The villagers of Velsao must stay united to protect their properties and come out on street to protest against double tracking project. Come together to protect your brothers and sisters of your village if anyone comes to arrest them. We request the railway authorities to solve the issue by sitting around the table with the people of Velsao and not go ahead with the project which will destroy the environment, peace and their traditional homes.
