It is sad and shocking to see that the road safety barrier which was built with concrete and steel pipes next to the Curtorim Lake is broken and authorities have put bamboo sticks in their place. Road safety barriers are put at the dangerous places to avoid traffic accidents and when any accidents happen here there may be loss of precious lives as those involved could fall in the deep water. For the safety of public, the Village Panchayat office of Curtorim, MLA Alex Reginaldo Lourenco and the concerned authority have to take quick action in the interest of the public. Remember that safety always comes first. Please repair the damage concrete barrier as soon as possible.
