Sad to see freedom fighters' kids still protesting for jobs

With reference to the news titled "Sudin: Portuguese's attempts to bring change brought pain". The Goan Everyday dated December 20, 2022. On the eve of the Liberation Day the Power Minister Sudin Dhavalikar has paid rich tribute to the freedom fighters for their sacrifices to free Goa from colonial rule. On the other hand it is a very sad state to see the children of freedom fighters on the Liberation Day at the Azad Maidan staging protest against the government failure to provide promised jobs. In his capacity as Power Minister if Dhavlikar takes up the children's matter and solved their problem surely the freedom fighters will rest easy. The words "brought pain" is feel good for the Hindutva  but during the Portuguese rule 70% Hindus were working in the key Government offices and 80% were cultivating fields and khazan lands. So where is the question of Portuguese 'bringing pain' on Goans?
