Our Government says “Save the Tigers”, but on the other hand, forests ” the natural homes of tigers and other wild animals ” are being cut down in the name of development and greed for money. When forests are destroyed, where will wildlife live?
These days, monkeys, foxes, wild pigs, buffaloes and even snakes are entering our villages and homes. The simple reason is that we humans have destroyed their forests, burnt trees, and flattened mountains and green hills for land and profit ” without thinking of the animals’ future.
Recently, a tiger was found killed and cut into three pieces in a forest in Karnataka. It shows how cruel humans have become. Instead of protecting tigers and helping them grow in number, people are killing them. If this continues, our future generations will only see tigers in books and videos ” not in real life.
The Government of India and the Forest Department must bring in stronger laws to protect tigers and all wildlife before it’s too late.
