This is with reference to "NEET Frisking case....... - The Goan Everyday July 20, 2022. It's exam time once again, and testing times & stressful times for the youth pursuing higher education. Presently, the NEET fever is on. After going through strenuous coaching, the students are subjected to undue mental torture at the time of writing their entrance exams. The authorities need to rethink their guidelines with regard to the dress code. It sounds so weird that clothes with metal items, like jeans with metal buttons, or bras with metal clips are not permitted. Is it an examination centre or a MRI centre? I mean how much more ridiculous can they get. They need to increase surveillance during the exams rather than subject youth to such mental torture, disturbing their mental balance. Clearly, it seems like the authorities seem to be affected by extreme paranoia. By the way, these Joint Entrance Tests are becoming more and more competitive with coaching classes encashing on the students desire to reach the top. In the bargain, these coaching classes are laughing all the way to the bank.
