Benaulim beach, one of the most popular beaches in South Goa gets a tremendous amount of footfalls on weekdays and the weekends are beyond jam-packed. People mostly arrive in cars which leads to traffic blockades on the main approach road. GTDC has made a new, large parking apron proximal to the beach (across the road from Fairfield Marriott) but due to the absence of proper signage and nil visibility from the main road very few people are aware of it. I would request the VP to put up proper directional boards so that the load on the main beach parking is reduced and the approach road remains congestion free.
