The opposition parties are rightly demanding for a Joint Parliamentary Committee (JPC) with the Modi government over the Adani issue as they claim that the recent meltdown in Adani Group shares is a scam involving common people's money as public sector LIC and SBI have invested in them. Unfortunately, the Modi government is seen giving a deaf ear to the above mentioned demand and still dragging it's feet in this whole matter as if nothing has really happened.
The worse part is that the Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman whilst refusing to comment on the Hindenburg report to defend the silence of her own government has now claimed that the ongoing Adani issue is a company specific matter/issue. I think that the reason why the Modi government is seen refusing to investigate the scams of the Adani group is because the same group has been fully funding the government during most elections to officially help itself to somehow loot Indians in our country.
