The Goa government needs to be complimented for its efforts in preparing for the now seemingly inevitable third wave of Covid-19. They have constituted a task force and are promising to get the infrastructure in place within a month. In the meanwhile, the new centre at the Campal stadium has also opened up. Other state governments should also follow suit and take necessary measures to combat the coronavirus rather than depending on the Centre, which has proved woefully incompetent to handle this pandemic.
