Alcometer checks for cops at police stations

Last week, 2 policemen were suspended for alleged brawling at the police station barracks at Old Goa. This is not new. There are many instances of cops misbehaving even with complainants and accused while dealing with cases on a daily basis. Most of behaviour of course goes unreported “ possibly due to fear. We also hear of so many instances of cops who report to duty in a drunken state. Can we not institute alcometer checks even for the policemen?
