There are numerous sewage tankers which collect sewage not only from residential units but also from commercial units, hotels, guest houses (many at over the capacity on the tourist belt). My question is where do these sewage tankers offload all this collected sewage? Based on facts that we see in Goa i.e. all water bodies, including creeks are highly polluted and full of stink. Is it prudent to ponder over what is causing all this? Recently there were reports in the local newspapers of sewage tankers caught even supplying the "load" as water supply to residential units. I request the Goa government to clarify on how this collected sewage is being managed or properly disposed of. Else I can only conclude that it's a part of un-declared "swim in sewage" tourist attraction.
