It has come to light that in 2006, about 60,000 square meters of land in Arpora village was converted on basis of a false affidavit. The required affidavit was filed by a landlord stating one person as ‘mundkar’ on Form 1/14, but, the name of that person was recorded in the other rights column of Form 1/14.
Documents show that there were two different 1/14 Forms for the two properties, one for the house and the other for the property on which the so-called tenancy claim was made.
The tenancy claimant was considered as deemed purchaser of the property and therefore a false affidavit was filed before the government.
Anyone who files a false affidavit can be prosecuted at any time. In the same case one of the builders had stated that "the person whose name was in Form 1/14 had passed away.
Why was the family of dead person ignored by the landlord and the builder as well?
The concerned family has proof of having a copy of the affidavit. The question is will this family who are the rightful owners get justice?
