Arrest warrant for Putin, but who will bell the cat?

On March 17, the International Criminal Court (ICC) based in the Hague issued an arrest warrant for the Russian President Vladimir Putin. This was for war crimes and his alleged involvement in abducting children from Ukraine to Russia. The president of ICC stated that although the judges have issued the warrant but it will up to the international community to enforce them because the court has no police to do so. The spokeswoman of the Russian Foreign Ministry quickly  reacted and said that the ICC’s decision has no meaning as Russia does not recognise the court’s jurisdiction. It is puzzling as to who and/or which country nudged the ICC to pronounce such an absurd verdict against Russia. Which nation has the guts to bell the Siberian big cat? Looks like a sheer waste of time and undue publicity for the ICC.
