Chief Minister Pramod Sawant, keeping an eye on the upcoming assembly elections is aggressively seen glorifying the 'achievements' of his government.
Has the government done anything to bring down the prices of petrol, diesel, gas cylinders etc and to control inflation to give relief for all the "aam-Goans" (most of whom who have lost their jobs and are sitting idle since the beginning of the pandemic) in Goa?
Today, our once peaceful state has indeed been practically turned into another lawless state, a la UP. Our young teenage girls are being raped and murdered and there is no action against the culprits or justice for the victims.
Outsiders too are seen daringly entering our State with guns, firing at innocents in public in broad daylight and casually carrying on with all types of filthy activities.
Talks of development may sound big, but look at the condition of the major roads in Goa. Most of the roads are currently full of potholes and have become accident-prone zones or death-traps.
The government is spending lavishly on many unwanted things like the samadhi at Miramar, Goa's 60th liberation year celebrations, advertisements, bullet proof vehicles etc but has no money to repair these roads.
Goans need to feel ashamed. We seriously need better facilities for us and our future generations. It’s time to liberate Goa for good.
