Boosting nutritional needs of students

In the light of the fact that a sturdy nation consists of strong youth, it would be in the fitness of things that primary and secondary school students should be prescribed nutritional supplements that can become a means of preventing diseases by being instrumental in providing the required daily doses of all vitamins, essential and trace minerals as well as essential and trace amino acids that go into the formation of the necessary and required enzymes and other secretions of various organs that will greatly minimise the risk of contracting diseases. A much-acclaimed clinical nutritionist can be consulted by the management of all the schools towards providing all the nutritional requirements of students. It would also be suggested that the finances for wholesale procurement of nutritional supplements can be acquired from profit-making companies and financial institutions as a part of their corporate social responsibility. Building a strong and healthy foundation for our students is what the doctors would recommend. Mere recommendation without follow-through is not what the doctor ordered.
