On July 27 at a government school hall at Canacona, nearly 500 Canconkars of different castes, creed and communities gathered under one roof for a celebration that turned into a learning experience, an eye opener. The celebratory cake cutting event for their MLA who turned 55 was taken over by some intelligent intellectuals and India's ex-union minister, Suresh Prabhu, which turned the one hour event into close to 4 hours of rich gold mining visionary mission statement for the Canconkars to reap the fruits by 2030. They enjoyed every word patiently and were astonished to realize that Canacona had produced some hidden stars with the same Vision and Mission for Canacona 2030 which was scripted and initiated by their own Assembly Speaker Ramesh Tawadkar, that made a great success of "Lokotsav 2023". Moreover, handing 20 houses to the extreme poor and downtrodden under 'Sharm-Dham' initiative within unbelievable time of just 90 days was not an easy feat.
