A scooter was stolen (the act which was captured on a CCTV camera) in a daring daylight robbery from Mudda Waddo, Saligao, on Good Friday while the owner was attending mass at the Mae de Deus Church, Saligao. Of course, the Saligao police team has now reportedly recovered the stolen vehicle from a teenager in Porvorim. Well, what can one really expect when we Goans ourselves keep migrants (without even checking their antecedents) in rooms constructed at the back of our houses on rent for the sake of making some quick bucks in different parts of Goa? I think that Goans should henceforth start compulsorily installing CCTV cameras outside their balconies, near their bike/car garages and all other important main entry/exit locations around their houses to keep a track on the movement of all the anti-social elements (especially jobless migrants or 'bhumiputras' protected by politicians) for their own safety and security in future.
