The Electricity Dept was prompt in removing growth of bushes /vegetation from overhead lines network poles and none dared to run loose cables on the poles for fear of electrocution. The overhead network is replaced by underground cables and electric poles all over the State are now free for public and are extensively used to draw wires for internet data, cable TV, private connections for personal use, putting banners /boards for publicity and vegetation expanding its growth. It is eye sore to see every alternate pole with so many coils of wires hanging from it and cloth banners fixed and clubbed with clusters of bushes. When will the respective Councillors wake up to take care of his/her concerned ward and local MLA monitor it to solve this problem rather than blaming the Department or Minister for the same.
