Colva P'yat must take up carrying capacity study

Benaulim Panchayat must be appreciated to be now the first in Goa to actively pursue a carrying capacity study (initiated by TERI as of March 2026) to assess the impact of rapid development on infrastructure, such as water supply, waste management, and traffic.  Colvenkars have already adopted/passed  a resolution to conduct a carrying capacity study at the gram sabha held on February 1, 2026.  Can I request neighbouring Colva Village Panchayat to move fast on the same and be the next one to do the same urgently ?

Increasing number of MPs additional burden on citizens

Instead of increasing the number of MPs from 543 to 850, why not let one MP represent 40 lakh people instead of current 20 odd lakh? That way, the number of MP's required will be reduced to 350 (for a population of 140 Crore). Our legislative expenses will go down and we will have less candidates for elections, leading to reduced spends and less of tug of wars for government formation.Why increase the burden on the people by increasing these free loaders from 543 to…
