Colvenkars must use RERA for sustainable development

Acting on a complaint by Colva Civic and Consumer Forum, RERA (Real Estate Regulatory Authority) has pulled up, suspended and penalised a prominent real estate developer (Congress north Goa politician cum builder) who had engaged in serious land related irregularities (commercial plot development ), at First Ward, Colva whilst the Colva Panchayat and TCP Dept strangely (or rather as expected) looked the other way, despite numerous complaints made by Colvenkars to these authorities. It’s also shocking to note that no Colva real estate projects (particularly the upcoming ones) appear to be registered on the RERA website. Colvenkars should start using RERA to possibly ensure the sustainable development of their village.

Samba Square event in Panaji was a flop

I and my group called Ringers  were surprised to see that Samba Square celebrations in Panaji were a flop. We used to organize floats, cabarets and  all kind of dances during Carnival. We used to practice with our musical instruments well in advance. Our group was well known all over the world and now we are ashamed that slowly all the bands in Goa have lost their pride.
