Samba Square event in Panaji was a flop

We used to practice with our musical instruments well in advance. Our group was well known all over the world and now we are ashamed that slowly all the bands in Goa have lost their pride. Today, I saw at Samba Square in Azad Maidan that crowd which was assembled below the stage were 90 per cent non-Goans. My band leader was shocked to see people dancing wrongly to the tune of Samba. Where have our Goans gone? London? In fact it is a shame to see that our Goans have lost interest to preserve our identity and our traditional musical culture.
