Congress needs to act quickly, get new faces

GPCC President Girish Chodankar has reportedly said that 75 to 80 per cent of the party candidates for the ensuing Assembly elections will be young and new faces. Well, making such announcements is fine but where are the so-called 'new faces' and who is their Chief ministerial candidate?

The reason why the Congress has been currently grounded like an ill-fated ship is because the same has been hijacked by clueless leaders.

In fact, leaders like Girish are running the Congress in a most unprofessional manner. They are heard making the above mentioned announcements a number of times but till date seen refusing to give a chance for visionary new young faces.

Under such circumstances, how can one ever expect the Congress to really rejuvenate itself and to dislodge the current BJP government?

I personally feel that if the top Central leaders want their party to really make a comeback then they should immediately sack all clueless individuals (who are actually proving more like liabilities then assets) for deliberately trying to destroy all future prospects of the party by inwardly behaving like close BJP symphatisers.
