Corruption in State has crossed all limits

Who says there is no corruption in government departments in Goa? Without paying a bribe, your file will not move from one table to another for approval. If you refuse to pay, you will have to keep visiting the office repeatedly. Officials will keep finding silly mistakes and call you back every week until you put money in their pockets.

The electricity department is short of digital meters, forcing customers to buy them at their own cost. If citizens have to arrange their own meters, then what is the department’s job”just to sit in offices? Who is responsible for providing electric meters”the department or the people?

The power minister talks big about smart meters but has failed to provide digital meters to citizens. How is the electricity department functioning without proper equipment? Are the Assistant Engineers (AE) and Junior Engineers (JE) not doing their job to ensure that all necessary materials are available in the main and sub-offices on time?

Are government office employees paying ministers and MLAs for their jobs, and then recovering that money by taking bribes from citizens? People pay for job scams, and innocent Goans suffer because of it. Corruption under the BJP government has destroyed Goa’s image and crossed all limits.
