Curlies demolition: Why so much haste?

Curlies beach shack in Anjuna has been in the news and recently so in the death of BJP leader and Tik Tok star Sonali Phogat.

Now, with the NGT order clearing the decks for the demolition of the illegal structure, the Goa government moved quickly and began demolishing the controversial structure on Friday.

But the owners were quick enough to move the Supreme Court and get a partial stay on the demolition.

The government on its part is right in going ahead with the demolition but the question that comes to mind is how can the shack Curlies be demolished when the same is material evidence to a crime declared as murder (Sonali Phogat)?

The police claim the 'murder' took place in this shack, they found drugs concealed in the women's toilet, and they also arrested Nunes, saying he is the owner of the same.

Definitely there is more than meets the eye. Looks like the government is protecting some people and my guess is it can only be a politician.
