Delhi has been in the news many times for being the most polluted city in India and amongst the most polluted in the world. Now with the Goa Government indiscriminately converting so much of land either via allowing illegalities or with their controversial acts like 17/2, 39/A, ODP etc which are factually found to be mostly real estate development, I hope Goans have the common sense to understand the consequences in terms of stress on scarce resources like water, increasing temperatures and also particularly of land/air/water pollution which will be due to thousands of new settlers coming in causing a huge stress on the small state. Most of the buyers with deep pockets are from Delhi and surrounding areas. If Goans in villages, towns, cities don’t act now to stop these corrupt, destructive politicians then their next generations will pay a heavy price.
