It is really shocking to see that one by one the domestic and international airlines are shifting from Dabolim Airport in South Goa to the New Mopa international airport in North Goa. The reason is that the Dabolim Airport is charging extra parking fees from the airlines and then the airlines are charging extra airline fares from the customers while buying the tickets. In Mopa airport the parking fees are at reasonable price and also the airline fare are reasonable where most of the airlines reach Goa airport early in the morning from different airports. The airlines' timings are perfect and this clearly shows that the aviation, GMR authorities and the government of Goa are supporting the new Mopa Manohar International Airport and not the old Dabolim Airport which they want to close down slowly step by step. Don't understand why the airport authority has kept toll fees in the airport for the vehicles? All the dirty mind tricks are played only to loot the common man and taxi owners in the name of development.
