Looking at the present situation I am disheartened that we are not safe anymore in our own land. Our politicians have sold our State to outsiders for the greed of money and power.
After all the loot and plunder, now even heritage sites are not spared. Politicians have now started to pass the buck regarding the controversial structure at Old Goa.
The Basilica authorities respectfully keep the front rows seats for politicians during the feast of St Xavier. This year it would be apt if no reservation is done for any politician during the feast mass to tell them that all is not well.
St Xavier’s feast mass is not a tiatr. Politicians and ministers are the same persons who have given permission for the controversial structure at the heritage site.
It will be a big insult to the niz Goemkars who are on hunger strike if these politicians get the right to front row seats.
