A person born in a foreign country has to register his birth there, whether he wants nationality or not. In the same way, the Goans born in Portuguese India have been registered here as well as in Portugal. Now, to get Portuguese citizenship, one has to apply, and there is a process one has to follow; otherwise, it is not possible. So, suddenly, nobody can say he is a citizen of Portugal and revoke the passport. The Government of India should think over this issue instead of keeping it in abeyance and disturbing the aspirants.
