While the Union Ministry of Home Affairs is debating moves to combat the predictable third wave in September/October, there is a fear psychosis gripping the minds of people with regard to the efficacy of the fast-tracked experimental Covid vaccines leading to vaccine hesitancy among front line workers, health care providers and the public at large. After inoculating the higher age groups with a blitzkrieg of lopsided publicity the expert committee feels that the third wave is likely to hit children the most and are on an overdrive to vaccinate them on priority. This has led to opposition from parents and women groups across the country who fear that the adverse events will take a toll on their children’s health, going by the fatalities of vaccinated people. There is also a growing concern that science has not kept up with the virus by making sure-fire vaccines to tame the pandemic. To make matters worse the proponents of the vaccines like Bill Gates, George Soros, Pfizer CEO Albert Bourla are fighting shy to take a taste of their own medicine which otherwise would have boosted the morale of people.
