Former Pak pacer Shoaib Akhtar’s controversial statement on Kashmir and India by invoking 'Ghazwa-e-Hind' proclamation that 'Muslims will capture Kashmir and then invade India, is only a dream.
He had stirred many controversies earlier too. In the past, Pakistanis have made their intentions clear when they want to make a political statement against India. Akhtar enjoys a huge fan following in India and his venomous comments have left his followers shocked and angry.
The term ‘Ghazwa-e-Hind’ has been used by radical Islamic preachers in Pakistan and Pak backed terror operators for decades. It means a 'Holy war against India'. JeM uses the term to recruit, get funds and to justify its attacks on India.
Terror operatives like JeM have been pushing for Jihad against India by telling impressionable youth that it is considered holy in Islam and those who participate in it will be granted direct entry into paradise.
People like these are more dangerous than ISIS terrorists. Pakistan is scared of India’s power and its acceptability on global forums. This type of ideologies needs to be eradicated from our country.
