The current Goa Government seems to be on an overdrive by marketing itself and its so-called development and progress in the State using taxpayers money; in a state which is at a record debt! Of course, all this marketing (Radio, TV, etc) is in view of the upcoming state elections. It would be okay to say that, if Goa and Goans were actually progressing, and all the marketing was highlighting the true picture, but in reality what I see in Goa is very high unemployment, more and more garbage all over the place, cattle on the roads, sad state of many roads, massive hill cutting/cutting of trees, sewage dumped into fields/water bodies, increasing pollution particularly with coal, growing illegal settlements via political patronage, rampant corruption all over the place and highly in-efficient govt departments and the poor service that they provide to the citizens! Do you think Goans will fall for all this fake marketing by the current ruling class?
