Future of many students has become uncertain in US

Before or during last year, and prior to the Trump administration coming into power, foreign students who participated in any protests or movements were not specifically targeted. Now, however, such students are being primarily targeted in the US. Their visa status and legal residency are being revoked. This has led to the risk of arrest for many foreign students.  Since Donald Trump came to power, all previous leniencies have been withdrawn and strict directives are being enforced. As a result, the future of many students has become uncertain and bleak. Some students whose visas were cancelled in the US were accused of supporting Palestinians, while others faced action for minor reasons. One student from the University of Minnesota was detained, and his visa was revoked under the claim of having objectionable records. In reality, the student was arrested for a DUI (driving under the influence). Due to the Trump administration's strict stance, colleges and universities are alarmed. If such actions continue, no international students may want to come to the US for education, which could disrupt the financial ecosystem of these institutions. The future of international students in the US remains uncertain and unstable.
