Gaude should first resign, then demand inquiry

Art and Culture Minister Govind Gaude, when asked to explain over the allegation of grave corruption charges levelled against his department for siphoning around Rs 26 lakhs of public funds has said that he is getting ready to warm up to prove his own innocence in Goa. He has also asked as to why he should resign when he was fully open to any inquiry into the issue of utilisation of funds of the Art and Culture Department. Speaker Ramesh Tawadkar has openly levelled serious allegations and has accused him of graft in matters dealing with disbursement of grants under his department.  I think that if Govind Gaude has really not done anything wrong (as being claimed by him through the local media) then instead of inwardly trying to make a deal with the Speaker and his own team captain, namely CM Pramod Sawant to get a clean chit for himself, he should resign immediately  without giving any further excuses and then dare to demand a fair & impartial inquiry to prove his own innocence in this serious matter in Goa.
