The Law Minister Aleixo Sequeira had made a realistic statement on drugs. His statement should be an eye-opener that has hit his government. His talk has exposed the home department of Goa, where all are involved with agents for spreading the menace of drugs. Sequeira has exposed the truth, and the truth always hurts. The fight against drugs is not easy after knowing the drug peddlers and the police are hand in hand. How do we stop them and what action will the home department take? The fight against drugs has been going on since the time of our late CM Manohar Parrikar and a resolution was even passed in the assembly. The Law Minister is right in expressing that we have to be proactive and ensure that drugs are not made available. We have to be united with the Law Minister and all the Goans have to walk hand in hand and aggressively attack the menace.
