Govt failed to secure Margao’s heritage buildings ahead of rains

Margao’s heritage buildings remain vulnerable despite impending rains. Neglected by authorities, including the Margao MLA and BJP government, these historic sites pose risks to residents and visitors alike. The government’s inaction jeopardizes public safety and disregards the value of these landmarks. Despite promises, repairs remain unfulfilled. Even during elections, priorities lie elsewhere. It’s a shame that public safety takes a back seat to political agendas. Urgent action is needed to protect cultural heritage.
