It's quite disturbing to know that wild animals like leopards and black panthers have ventured into villages and are causing harm to people.
However, their habitats have been disturbed initially and now the wild cats are on a roaming spree. Deforestation has not only caused harm to the ecosystem in the form of climatic change but it has also caused wild animals to frequently visit villages which are at the edge of the forest.
The domesticated animals are often attacked by these wild cats, incurring huge losses to the people in the vicinity. Sadly, people have to leave in fear of what's in store for them in the future. In addition, the surprising attack of the leopard on the concerned individual was at a place where there were no street lights.
However, it would be in the better interest of the public that the street lights are in working condition. Moreover, the authorities concerned should ensure protective measures on a priority basis to avoid further setbacks on the said route. Eventually, the ground reality remains unchanged until the leopard/black panther is captured and safely released into the forest.
