A brutal daylight murder of a doctor couple driving a car recently took place in of Rajasthan. Two gunmen riding a motor bike shot both of them dead point blank. Nobody came to their rescue.
Previous grudge was alleged to be the prime reason for the murder, typical revenge killings of sorts. In this regard it’s advisable not to halt vehicles when confronted by strangers on roads.
Murder being the mode to settle conflicts between people is unacceptable. In this case as well as others the application of laws of the land has to come into play, and settled in courts.
Gun control laws or constitutional amendments should be introduced by the government, where by possession of guns and fire arms should be made a crime.
Scores of murders take place in this country without courts or the police even knowing.
Society is becoming more intolerant and radical changes in the judiciary are required and need to be implemented at all levels.
Depraved minds with guns and intention to murder find it easier to vent their anger, by settling scores among themselves. These type of murders are on the rise in modern India.
Hope some gun control laws and amendments are introduced as early as possible in Parliament.
