The great results are out and the voters of this country have voted wisely irrespective of the religion or caste and creed which has been the political parties policy of vowing voters to vote for their parties. The BJP led by the Prime Minister has been using the religious platform to garner votes in many of his campaigns. This elections should be the turning point of Indian democracy. Now Indian voters want important issues of development, unemployment, good governance and corruption-free elected members to be elected if this great nation has to be the next super power on all fronts. The BJP President Sadanand Tanavade did not lose time in blaming religious leaders for the loss of the South Goa candidate who never was active in politics but forced to be a corporate candidate for the benefit of the BJP. Tanavade should accept defeat gracefully. I think the EVM did not tell you which religious community has voted for a candidate. Let's celebrate that Indian democracy is alive and good governance and good statesmen who value the constitution of the country are given the opportunity to govern this great secular nation.
