When the BJP was in Opposition, they kept on targeting Congress as being involved in mining scams running into thousands of crores and promised that the Congress politicians who were involved in the same would be charged and jailed within 6 months of BJP coming into Power in Goa...this was about 10 years ago! Did anything happen?
BJP instead took in many corrupt Congressmen and for one they recently announced a lifetime Cabinet Status. The other 2 major planks they fought in the 2012 election to get to power were on casinos and promising zero tolerance to corruption. Today, we know how BJP has failed miserably on these critical points.
Should we not hold them accountable for all these false promises and give them the appropriate message in the coming elections?
