This is an opportunity to modernise India’s relationship with Beijing. If Trump continues on his current path, China is likely to grow even more powerful and dominate global geopolitics. Hence, India must focus on constructive dialogue and cooperation with China, rather than viewing it only as a rival. China is fast advancing in areas once led by the United States, and working together could serve India’s long-term interests.
