Many a times we see our Goan politicians and leaders including bureaucrats imitating the Western world where they are found suited and booted when they meet foreign dignitaries in Goa.
Recently, an Ambassador of Italy was in Goa and had called on our Chief Minister Pramod Sawant. Dr Sawant was in a polished suit and was definitely looking smart.
What brings to mind is, if our Goan and Indian leaders showcase our true culture and the dress of the land, it will surely boost the image of the place.
