The existing three roads at the junction situated at Tisk in Ponda do not carry any direction board thereby indicating the names of places where the road proceeds.
Here, one road leads towards Margao, Vasco, Sanvordem, the other towards Queula, Ramnathi, Durbhat-Agapur and the third towards Old Bus-stand (in Ponda). In the absence of necessary boards, vehicles proceeding along this strategic junction remain at a great disadvantage.
Many-a-times vehicles are being halted and even parked on the road in order to enquire about the right way to the concerned destinations.
Such a tendency disturbs vehicular traffic proceeding along the main road. It also involves waste of one’s precious time. It is the need of the hour for the concerned authorities to take a note of above facts and arrange installation of the much needed direction boards so that vehicle riders are assured necessary guidance while proceeding along this important route.
