We the citizens of our India are celebrating 75 years of independence. But after the British left India we are fighting for the better roads, electricity, water which are basic needs of the common man. There is zero per cent safety on our Goan roads and many people die in road accidents. There are no signboards, zebra crossing lines, painting of speed breakers where the innocent citizens are facing lots of hardship daily. Cattle occupy the roads at night and street lights on the roads are not in a working condition for months.
Only flying our national flag at home will not make a better India but to make a better India issues which people of Goa are facing should be solved . Around the world, foreign governments think about public safety but in India we have to knock the doors of the government departments to get public work done but in vain. Instead of going forward like other nations we are going backwards as we the citizens of this country are forced to fight for our rights everyday.
