It is really sad to see whenever a central minister visits Goa, the Goa Chief Minister and rest of the ministers act as if their employer from Delhi is on a visit and go all out of their way to please him/her; as if their career is on the line (like how we see in many corporations). We can also see it in their body language towards the Central visitor?
Is Goa not a democracy? Are the people who vote in these ruling Goa politicians not the final bosses? Is Goa a colony of Delhi like how it was of Portugal and are its people to be treated like pawns/subdued citizens.
For example, Goans have been pleading to repair roads for such a long time but the Goa Govt goes into full power mode and repairs roads(only where there is a visitor from the centre).
How long will the actual bosses (ie the Goan People) of these spineless Goan ruling ministers be treated with such disdain and put on a much lower level of respect vs the lords from Delhi?
